Kyle Odefey grew up in the Greater Twin Cities area in Minnesota, forming a passion for media arts at a young age. His outgoing and charismatic attitude towards filmmaking led him to pursue Film Production as a career, taking him across America and Europe as early as 2015.

His short films Hotline (2019) and Dormscape (2019) won awards at the Thirteenth Annual South Dakota Film Festival, while other shorts such as Door Jam (2017), '79 (2018), and ANTE MERIDIEM (2019) have been showcased at festivals in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and New York, respectively.

In 2018, Kyle created his own freelance videography company to develop and produce client-based projects. As of 2020, he has worked with ABC Broadcast Affiliate WDAY, In-House Advertising & Consulting, the sports-based Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks Baseball Team & MSUM Go! Team, Bolton & Menk Studios, the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Livewire Entertainment Services LLC, Motivational Speaker Joe Beckman, and up-and-coming recording artist IDKYET, among others.
